Logo De Plaatsen

Plaatsen Nederland

Foundation “Plaatsen Nederland” works with (groups of) farmers, scientists, system players, artists, innovative representatives of knowledge and financial institutions and numerous other citizens on a new perspective for a regenerative food system. We do this by bringing people together, both in physical Places and in (virtual) networks. We strive for accessible, affordable, healthy and good food for everyone that above all contributes to a restored ecosystem. De first Place is located in Boxtel.

Logo Gentle Green

Gentle Green

Gentle Green developed a new climate, water, and energy system that combines climate and airflow control in a greenhouse with heating and cooling. This allows for closed greenhouses, such that no energy, water or CO2 is lost by opening windows. The risk of death from viruses, bacteria, fungi and pollen is reduced by more than 90%. The overall result is a more sustainable greenhouse with higher profitability and improved yield of healthy food.

Logo Cellcius

Cellcius

Heat is one of the biggest energy needs and is currently supplied by gas. Heat that is currently still mostly extracted from gas. However, a lot of unused residual heat is discharged in the industrial sector. Cellcius‘ heat battery makes it possible to store this residual heat and then later use it for heating homes and homes, virtually without loss in this storage process and over time. The innovative thermal battery is the solution for loss-free transport of residual heat and works with two simple and safe ingredients: salt and water.

GreenPro International

GreenPro International plays an important role as a go-to-market partner for both companies and retailers of plant-based products in key European markets. By improving the availability and accessibility of plant-based products for consumers, GreenPro plays an instrumental role in accelerating the transition towards a healthier and more sustainable plant-based diet.

Lyv

Lyv is developing an advanced energy management system (EMS), with which, for example, batteries, boilers and heat pumps can be controlled. By switching the devices on and off at the right moment, overloading of the power grid can be prevented. A phenomenon that will happen more and more often in the future as more and more electric driving takes place and households move away from the gas grid.

XINTC

XINTC develops and produces innovative modular alkaline electrolysers for the production of hydrogen gas for medium-scale applications, at any desired location. The company’s electrolyser is therefore suitable for converting solar and wind energy directly into hydrogen. As a clean energy carrier, hydrogen is in the international spotlight. Hydrogen makes an important and lasting contribution to reducing our CO2 footprint. The splitting of water into hydrogen and oxygen is an electrochemical process and occurs in an electrolyser. No CO2 is released. For large-scale applications, there is a need for affordable, efficient, sustainable and flexible electrolysis capacity.

New investment in sustainable energy storage

LionVolt, a spin-out of the Dutch Technology Centre TNO has developed a revolutionary type of battery based on 3-D technology and solid-state. These batteries are intrinsically safe, lightweight, load super-fast and have a long-life durability. Solid state has as additional benefit, that a battery cannot catch fire or explode. Goeie Grutten co-financed the early phase of the company. First applications can be expected in the wearables segment, where “wet” lithium batteries are still dominant.

Lazy Vegan

It is the mission of Lazy Vegan to make it really easy to eat vegan; purely plant based. They believe this way of eating is better for your health, animal welfare and our planet.

That is why Lazy Vegan develops and sells purely plant-based ready-meals, which you can find in the freezer of your (online) supermarket. All meals consist of natural ingredients and contain at least 200 grams of vegetables and 26 grams protein. The meals are free from soy since a pea-protein is used. And the very best is: the meals are ready in 8 minutes!

InspiraFarms

Inspirafarms helps African and South American farmers with their harvest. The company develops modular solutions to the sustainable cooling and processing of crops and it supports farmers with products, the needed funding and technical support. The result is better access to safer and healthier food. This makes food less expensive and results in less foodwaste. www.inspirafarms.com

Kitchen Republic

Kitchen Republic lets out a professionally decorated production kitchen and is the place where you can meet upcoming food producers and caterers. They are building an ecosystem in which innovative companies, through knowledge sharing and networking, help each other to start a business and to make it grow. www.kitchenrepublic.nl
